US Cities With the Highest Concentration of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Jobs
Among the top metropolitan areas in the United States known to have the highest concentration of jobs available to graduates of HVAC courses online and offline are Panama City, Lynn Haven, Lakeland, Cape Coral and Fort Myers in Florida. Also among the top are Wichita Falls in Texas and Danbury in Connecticut.
Jobs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technicians in Panama City and Lynn Haven combined account for approximately 0.76% of total employment, making both the top US cities with the highest concentration of workers in this field. US Cities With the Highest Wages for Certified Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technicians
Most of the metropolitan areas in the US with the highest wages for graduates of HVAC courses online and offline are located in California. They are Napa, Yuba City, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Oakland, Fremont, and Hayward. Also among the top are the cities of Lowell, Billerica, and Chelmsford in Massachusetts.
Napa offers the highest wages when it comes to those who complete requirements of HVAC courses online and offline. On the average, such workers in Napa receive approximately US$69,330 per year. Next to it is Yuba City which pays an average of US$62,590. At an average of US$61,580 per year, Lowell, Billerica and Chelmsford also offer relatively high wages. In the cities of San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara, the annual mean wage is at US$60,500 while in Oakland, Fremont, and Hayward, it is at US$59,850.
These figures are based on 2008 estimates and are expected to grow considerably within the next decade. It is important to note, however, that it is not enough to take HVAC courses online or offline as well as complete state requirements.
